The Cicada Platform is an iconic Kuwaii shoe. First released in 2012, this style now forms the basis of our classic footwear collection. Hand made to be both supportive and versatile with wide cut gladiator style straps. Formal enough to wear to special occasions, whilst being comfortable enough to take travelling the world these are the only sandal you will ever need.

  • Hand-made stacked EVA platform
  • Height 5cm
  • Bottom sole in hard-wearing Kuwaii blush pink gum rubber
  • High grade memory foam insole for maximum comfort

Sizing Information

— The leather straps should start off nice and firm across the foot, as they will relax and mould to your foot with wear
— The buckle should fit on the first or second hole to begin with, so that you can tighten it further as the leather relaxes
— Our footwear is in a standard width of a C fitting, which is wider than the usual stander width (B fitting)
— We usually recommend sizing down if you are in between sizes, unless you have a very wide foot.

Fabric & Care

Please note that our Cicada Platforms are carried over seasonally, so some leather variations can occur between sizes.

Vege Tan has been used in some of our past seasons, and the lining colour is either pink or black.
