Sizing Information

Our beloved Shell Tee is the perfect fitting simple tee shape. This piece is a more boxy silhouette, however it is designed to be worn in your usual size, and fit freely over the bust and waist. The neckline, shoulder and armhole fit true to size, however we would advise you to size down if you are between sizes. The fit of this beautiful piece has been tried and tested from our loyal customers since 2011.

  • Size up for extra length or for more room at the armhole.

Our model Sascha is 177.5cm tall and is a size 8 in tops and bottoms in the Kuwaii size chart. Sascha wears a size 8 in this style. Her measurements are:

  • Bust 77 cm
  • Waist 62 cm
  • Hips 89 cm

Our model Caitlin is 182 cm tall and is a size 16 in tops and bottoms in the Kuwaii size chart. Caitlin wears a size 16 in this style. Her measurements are:

  • Bust 103 cm
  • Waist 86 cm
  • Hips 125 cm

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Hand wash in cold water. Reshape carefully & dry flat in shade without delay. Do not bleach, tumble dry, soak or rub. Cool iron. Dry clean at trusted, environmentally friendly dry cleaner.


Masters of Flax Fibre Certification, previously known as "Certified European Flax", provides European origin traceability from Flax Fibre to finished products. This fabric boasts the below guarantees:

  • Flax grown with no irrigation,
  • Flax grown with no GMO seeds,
  • A local rotational crop: excellent head of rotation,
  • Low use of fertilisers and pesticides; no defoliants,
  • Natural dew retting in the field,
  • 100% mechanical fibre production (scutching),
  • Zero Waste fibre - all parts of the plant are used and valorised (fibre, shives, seed...),

nice top

I decided to purchase this top to see how the fit was, given the unusual cut of the top. I bought my usual size 10 and it fits perfectly with a good amount of drape. I wear it with the hush pants (rosewood colour) and have got quite a few complements. I would buy this top in other colours and fabrics.

Beautiful fabric and the bias falls wonderfully. So soft and comfortable. I sized up for a looser fit as I often like my clothes a little baggier. My usual size would have fit well also.

Wild elegance

The Shell Tee is one of my favourite classic Kuwaii designs. It is elegant and can be formal or casual, and I have it in several colours and fabrics. This Leopard print is my favourite yet. The organic cotton fabric holds the folds of the tee firmly so it feels like you are wearing a sculpture or artwork. Mainly I like that it unapologetically makes a bold statement in classic style. 🐆
