Kuwaii × Billy Van Creamy

We hoped that 2025 would be the year of reconnecting—with our community, with people, and with the incredible local businesses that surround us.

We are very excited to introduce a special collaboration that embodies all of the above: the Velvet Plum Sando - a collaboration with Kuwaii and Billy van Creamy.

A gluten-free ice cream sandwich crafted with natural, locally sourced ingredients, reflecting the thoughtful beauty of Kuwaii’s signature styles and fabrics.This creation is more than just a dessert—it’s an experience. Inspired by the essence of Kuwaii, we wanted each bite of the Velvet Plum Sando to capture the simple luxury of wearing our pieces: the smoothness of natural fibres, rich textures, mindful, empowering design. We also wanted to pay tribute to our signature colours—blushy earthy pink and deep red—but in ice cream form! With late summer and early autumn’s seasonal fruits in mind, this collaboration is a celebration of both nature’s gifts and the creativity that exists around us, in our Brunswick community.

Sustainability has always been at the heart of both Kuwaii and Billy Van Creamy. Choosing natural, high-quality, and locally sourced ingredients mirrors the way we select our fabrics—with care, intention, and respect for the environment. We are proud to support local and celebrate the joy of indulging in something special. The collaborative ice cream sandwich was launched at our Brunswick store on the 13th March 2025.
