We’ve had this idea for years. Now it’s finally happening.
Our studio has always been a little bit of a creative space behind the scenes. Somewhere ideas are developed, fabrics are collected, samples are made and things sometimes take a different path than we originally imagined.
You may know the space from the occasional outlet sale we’ve held there over the years. But this time, we’re opening the doors a little wider.
Introducing the Kuwaii Market, a place for all the things that don’t quite fit into our usual collections, but still deserve to be found.
You’ll find second-hand Kuwaii ready for a new life, alongside small runs made from our remnant fabrics. We’ll also be bringing out bundles of fabric and offcuts for those who’d like to make something of their own, as well as development samples and pieces from ideas that never quite made it into production.
It feels like a natural extension of what our studio has always been: a place for making, experimenting, reusing and finding new possibilities for things we already have.
So, from Friday 16 October, the Kuwaii Market will be open every Friday and Saturday for the rest of the year, at our studio at 89 Holmes Street, Brunswick.
