Help us make Christmas brighter for families in need

With our Kuwaii x Salvation Army Christmas Gift Appeal!

Kuwaii Gift Drive

This year at Christmas, our focus is on giving back to those in need in our community. We are proud to partner with the Salvation Army by hosting a gift drive as part of their Christmas Gift Appeal.
Simply pop into any Kuwaii store between now and Sunday the 15th December 2019 with your gift!
During the week of the 16th December we will gather all the gifts and donate them to our local Salvation Army drop off point.

We are so excited to see the generosity of our amazing customers, and to be able to pass these gifts onto people who are in need.

To thank you for your generosity, we’re giving away a free Kuwaii Hemp Tote Bag with every donation.

So that we can make sure all your generous donations are accepted by the Salvation Army, please read our guidelines and gift ideas below, before dropping off your donation to store.

Guidelines

1. Please only donate new items. Sadly, the gift you donate may be the only present someone receives this Christmas. We know Christmas isn’t only about receiving gifts, but this is one way we can help families feel special. Your nearest Family Store or Salvos Store will gladly receive your good quality pre- loved gifts.

2. We gratefully accept gift vouchers. They are ideal gifts for teenagers – and we are always short of gifts for teenagers – and also give a parent who is struggling the joy of purchasing a gift for their child’s unique personality and interests.

3. Please consider older age groups when donating gifts. Every year we are overwhelmed with gifts for younger children but always run out of gifts for teenagers and parents.

4. Please do not wrap gifts. This allows parents the dignity of choosing gifts for their child from among the donations and also gives them the special experience of wrapping gifts for their child. Feel free to include some wrapping paper or a gift bag for parents to use, and Kuwaii will be donating a bulk amount of wrapping paper to the drive too!
