Studio & Dispatch Co-ordinator

This is a fashion all-rounder role with specific function of ensuring quality of our beautiful, locally made product, as well as the timely dispatch and picking/packing of orders. Reporting to the studio manager, you are responsible for managing incoming stock, the overall quality of our products, as well as related weekly administration & accounts tasks.

You must be focused, efficient, super-organised, hardworking and an excellent multi-tasker. Maintaining and building personal relationships is imperative as is being able to handle many tasks at once and stay on top of them all. Communication both written and verbal is very important, as well as a strong personal sales technique. We expect you to be a leader, a mentor to your staff, and to always advocate and hold close the best interests of the business.

Key Requirements :

  • Fashion design or related tertiary degree is required
  • Applicable years of experience working in a similar role
  • Intermediate level of competency using Excel
  • Exceptional communicating skills for over the phone and email communication
  • Able to input data to a high level in order
  • Proven experience of using Microsoft Suite
  • Able to effectively prioritise manage varying tasks in regards to their level of importance
  • High degree of accountability and attention to detail
  • Must have proven examples of being flexible and adaptable to scenarios
  • Experience with Xero or Vend advantageous

This is a full time role of 38 hours per week over 5 days.

Smith St Store Manager

As one of our dedicated Store Managers, you will be responsible for the overall performance of your departments: including that you and your staff give exceptional customer service and that your budgets are being met, and exceeded! You will be constantly driving sales and improving the overall results, and be passionate about pushing your departments to be the absolute best that they can be.

We expect you to be an active part of our Business Management team – actively contributing to driving the overall business strategy, bettering business systems and organisation, and being aware of and passing on any feedback on opportunities to grow your store, and the Brand.

Studio Intern

Kuwaii is on the hunt for a studio intern to join our growing team. We are looking for a Fashion Design student with amazing organisational skills who is an excellent multi-tasker, who can assist our Production Coordinator in the behind the scenes running of our incoming and outgoing production. This is a one day a week role, based in our Brunswick studio over a six month period.

You will have:

— A passion for the fashion industry
— Knowledge of our brand, our ethos and philosophy
— Great organisational skills
— Motivation and a love of learning
— The ability to thrive in a fun and fast-paced environment
— A perfectionist approach, with high attention to detail
— Driver licence desirable but not required
