Introducing Seb brown

October 21st, 2014

On Sundays it varies. I’m often really hungover and go out for brunch with the rest of Melbourne, then I usually make an impulsive ridiculous purchase to make myself feel better, then Pho on Victoria Street with my mates. Although I have been traveling a lot lately so Sunday can mean anything!

I like to eat Spinach and chilli Borek with yoghurt, fresh tomatoes, soft white Turkish cheese, black coffee, boiled eggs, watermelon and mint tea (This mornings breakfast in Istanbul).

My favorite piece of Kuwaii clothing is anything from the ‘Landscapes’ Collection from Summer 12/13. I created a jewellery collection for the runway show and the pastel blue and orange reminds me of fun times and entering the Kuwaii family fold!

I wouldn’t be able to function without all the usual’s (friends, coffee, family etc) but also a sketch book and pencils so i can escape there for a while. And I love jackets, but I can’t stand winter.

The installation of this dreamlike aquarium titled ‘Underwater flight’ is situated in the Portland airport. This ongoing project explores the concept of being out of context and displaced evoking an overall feeling of something unexpected..
